About / the people behind the work
Aviation is better when it feels human.
Matta Aviation Services was built around a simple idea: good aviation support should be serious about standards and easy to talk to.

Working knowledge
A school, a shop and a team that knows both sides.
Founder Eduardo “Eddie” Matta brings 22 years of Army service, an A&P license, Inspection Authorization, commercial pilot ratings and more than 3,000 flight hours. That range shapes the way the operation teaches: practical, direct and connected to the work students and owners are preparing to do.
CFIs, maintenance leaders and office support keep the experience close-knit. You know who to ask, what the next step is and why it matters.
What we believe
Competence should feel calm.
Safety is a practice
It lives in good questions, clear checklists and the patience to do a job correctly.
Experience is shared
We teach the why behind the task so the knowledge travels with you.
Details earn trust
Schedules, prices and work scopes stay plain enough to make decisions from.
Progress is personal
Your pace and your goal matter. We help build a route that fits both.
